Amor Toran is now considered a hero of the Cardassian people. His internal raid on the Detapa Chambers will go down as one of the great events in Cardassian history. Furthermore, the appearance of Minister Elim Garak through the dust created by the devastating T'Zohl Gamma shuttle landing has created an almost religious fervor over the incident. Toran is seen almost as Gabriel harkening the return of God in the myth that has already spread through the Cardassian Worlds.

Now Amor Toran becomes the first traveler in the Hebetian Tradition. Hebetian culture owes a great debt to the early Bajorans. Both great civilizations were steeped in the exploration tradition and in the sciences. Once Cardassia lost its way to an almost Machievellian World of oppression and intolerance, the ways of the Hebetians were turned over to the Legates of Cardassia. Toran has been granted the first Cardassian charter in the Beta Quadrant.

The Phoenix Federation has on countless occasions supported the Hebetian Democracy and this will only serve to strengthen that relationship as the colony will be within the territory assigned to the Phoenix. The goal is to make the colony less palpable to invading Klingons or occupying Romulans.

The task of taking Toran and his explorers to B1015 fall to the USS / CGV Tanmesad as it begins its second furor into the Beta Quadrant.

Vash looked at Tania. It was rare for them both to be on the bridge at the same time but recent events including the daring race to Cardassia have brought them together once more. This is the launch of a great journey, a trek if you will across the Alpha Quadrant and into the Beta Quadrant.

"Are you ready, Commander?", Vash looked over at Commander Branson in her new containment suit.

"I am.", Tania grinned.

"Commander S'Ari, notify Platform 2010 that we are leaving for the Beta Quadrant now.", Vash ordered.

"Yes, Sir.", the Vulcan complied, engaging the impulse engines.

Valerie stood up and looked at the giant space platform moving away from the ship. This marks a return of sorts for the Tanmesad to its glory days of serving the Union in a special capacity.

"Are you ready for Warp, Mr. Warren?", Vash asked.

"As ready as I will ever be.", Carson smiled.

'What does that mean?", the Cardassian replied.
"You ran at warp 9.9 for nearly 7 hours just 4 days ago, Gul Enranet. The poor old Tams can't take much more of that. She is barely holding togetether. Me and Syd will keep you afloat, Gul Enranet. You just don't crash into anything.", Carson blurted out.

"That my dear mechanic rests with Commander S'Ari.", Vash laughed.

"Going to warp.", S'Ari replied.

The Tanmesad shook as she banked hard right and headed for the Beta Quadrant.

Vash looked at Tania, "Blast off."

Tania smiled.
