Autumn was working in the Marine Cargo Bay when she noticed the holds. She peaked inside and found the Jem'Hadar Warrior laying in Stasis. Autumn would sometimes come down and talk to the soldier. He became the perfect listener; almost a confidante. He was in stasis but he was the perfect listener as Autumn dealt with her bizarre feelings towards Tchilick Tchilack.

Autumn was feeling particularly spurned after Tchilack took an extra shift on the bridge rather than spend the evening with her. She was feeling so lonely. She could not help herself. She entered her security code as the Chief of Security and the stasis pod opened. The Jem'Hadar soldier stepped forward, "One of Five reporting for duty."

Autumn looked at him, "Thank you. I shall call you Sarge."

"Yes, Ma'am.", the Jem'Hadar reported.

Over the next 2 weeks, he began the most obedient of servants. He was the perfect marine. He did exactly as he was told. He worked harder than any member of her staff. Even Evangeline would use "Sarge" to assist in activities.

After the second week, he began to look fatigued and tired. Autumn tried to nurse him back to health with little success. With no luck, Autumn went to see Giancarla. She was mortified to see the Jem'Hadar, jumping back in fear.

Autumn looked at the doctor, "Guinea Pig, he is suffering."

Giancarla was horrified. She discovered the fact that the Jem'Hadar was suffering from withdrawal. He had been activated without Ketrecel White. Giancarla told Autumn that there was a serious problem. The Tanmesad no longer had any Ketrecel White.

Autumn had to betray her silence. She went to Vash to explain about what she had done. Vash was very upset. The Jem'Hadar should only be activated in an extreme emergency. Autumn begged for Ketrecel White for her listener. Vash confirmed the facts. The Tanmesad had no Ketrecel White.

Autumn went to see Tania Branson. She hoped that the Borg would know how to manufacture the White. Tania frowned and informed Autumn that she would have no access to the Borg Databases. She had no recipe for the White.

Autumn went to see Charlene. She begged the pilot to use the Warren One to travel back to Cardassia Prime to get some Ketrecel White. Faulkner was not prepared to risk her career to get the White for the Jem'Hadar. She refused.

Autumn was alone in the Marine Cargo Bay as "Sarge" convulsed on the floor going through the horrors of withdrawal. Autumn held the hand of her friend and watched in horror as the Jem'Hadar warrior died of the symptoms. Autumn shed a few tears. She slowly closed his eyes. It was a touching moment. It was a Tanmesad moment.

Autumn stood up, "Good-bye, my friend."

She turned. Tchilick was standing in the doorway. She stood there for a moment and then she rushed over into his arms crying like a baby. Click put his arms around her and just held her. There was no need for words at that moment.
