T'Zohl was laying in bed when the first incident occurred. The Tanmesad shook violently. Investigation soon discovered that Lt. Faithful Laree missed a switch causing a delay in delivery of power creating virtual turbulance. It was not the first time that Lt. Laree had screwed up on the Flight Console. T'Zohl was growing impatient with the young Betazoid's learning curve. She was struggling in the Cardassian Environment.

Gul Varno had submitted a formal complaint that had been rebuffed by Commander Tania Branson. Faith and Tania are very close, particularly after Faithful engineered her reconciliation with Christina Lodge. T'Zohl would not have let her emotions become such a distraction.

T'Zohl was coming on shift when the Tanmesad lurched once more. This time, not because of the flight command but because of power delivery. Charlene Faulkner cursed the Cardassian equipment. Thandie Varno, sitting next to her father in the Counsellor's chair. She slowly stood up and reached over the shoulder of the Operations Officer and calmly made a simple adjustment. Power was restored and the Tanmesad proceeded nicely.

The Vulcan could see. The observation did not take exceptional logic. T'Zohl waited for Valerie Bell to come onto the bridge.

"Commander Bell, may I have a word.", the Vulcan asked.

Valerie looked at the Vulcan's stern look, "Yes, Ma'am."

"I would like to suggest that Charlene Faulkner be returned to the Flight Command to replace Lt. Faithful Laree.", T'Zohl suggested.

"But Faith is a friend of Commander Branson.", Valerie responded.

"This is not about friendship, this is about performance. Commander Branson will understand that.", T'Zohl responded logically.

"But who will I have?", Valerie replied.

"I would offer Lt. Thandie Varno.", T'Zohl explained.

"The Counsellor?", Valerie looked puzzled.

T'Zohl handed the Operations Commander the PADD with the image of Thandie Varno assisting Charlene Faulkner on Ops.

Valerie looked at T'Zohl.

T'Zohl continued, "Logically, Faithful Laree is best suited as counsellor. Her work involving Commander Branson is exemplary."

Valerie turned around as Vash entered the bridge with Violet, the Andorian.

"Gul Enranet, we have a proposal for you.", Valerie looked at the Cardassian.

Vash read over the proposal.

"I see your stamp on this, Commander T'Zohl.", Vash examined the PADD.

"This is the logical course of action.", T'Zohl responded.

"Have you spoken to the parties involved?", Vash asked.

"No but we will.", Valerie quickly jumped in.

"You too are the commanding officers of these departments. I differ to your better judgement. This is why you have the roles you do.", Vash smiled.

The ladies looked very pleased, "Thank you, sir."
