T'Zohl was still angry with Enranet. He had fired on the defenseless Romulan vessel and he had diverted the Tanmesad to the Phoenix Colony nearly destroying a years worth of peaceful negotiations with the Klingon's.

Vash had saw better of the decision and now the Klingon homeworld was in sight on the viewer. T'Zohl thought of Colonel Laphe. She had grown in respect for the Marine Commanding Officer as she spent more time on the night shift. She just needed to stay away from Vash for a while.

T'Zohl turned back and stirred the sleeping Klingon. T'Zohl startled him and he quit snoring and stood up.

"Klingon!!", he shouted, pounding his chest.

"Qapla' Balth je'", Colonel Laphe smiled.

"Honor and success.", T'Zohl smiled, "Honor and success."

"Contact the Consulate. Inform them of our arrival and inform them of the presentation of the gifts from Minister Garak and the Cardassians. This is not a gesture of peace but of alliance. The meek pray for peace. The warriors pray for alliance, the only weapon against war is great power.", Colonel Laphe spoke eloquently.

"Aye, Sir.", the Vulcan responded with a smile.

"jIH DoQ batlh", spoke the Colonel.

T'Zohl smiled. She thought she understood Vash. She thought she could read the Cardassian but just when she thinks he has reverted to his Cardassian ways, he does something else.

Vash carefully arranged the schedule, the timing and perhaps even the diversion to the Colony path in order to ensure that the ship would arrive at the Klingon homeworld at night, with the Klingon in the COMM.

T'Zohl was leaving the bridge to speak to young Jessie Larson about the day shift when she turned back watching the Colonel speak to the consulate.

"You can 'claim the honor', Colonel.", T'Zohl smiled.
